Richard C. Swank concentrates his practice in
general civil litigation, appellate matters and federal court
proceedings. He has represented clients along a wide spectrum
from individuals in small matters to multi-national
corporations in complex federal cases.
Prior to joining Litchford & Christopher in 2001,
Richard served as a judicial clerk for Judge Robert T. Benton
II with the First District Court of Appeals in Tallahassee,
Florida. Prior to attending law school, Richard worked for
several years as manager of a small business.
Richard is a member of The Florida Bar's Appellate Practice
section on continuing legal education. He is a member of the
Order of the Coif.
Richard graduated from the University of Florida with a
Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. He then earned his
law degree, magna cum laude, from the Florida State University
College of Law. While in law school, Richard was an articles
editor of the Florida State Law Review and received five book
awards.
