Commercial litigation,
including trials and appeals in both state and federal courts,
constitutes the vast majority of the firm's work. We have
successfully counseled clients and prosecuted and defended suits
involving issues in all areas of the law. We regularly handle
cases involving antitrust and unfair competition, agreements not
to compete and trade secrets, financial and securities fraud,
patent, trademark and copyright infringement, breach of contract,
business torts, products liability, employment discrimination and
civil rights, construction disputes, real property claims and
mortgage foreclosures, corporate control, partnership
dissolution, and all types of injunctions. The firm also
prosecutes and defends class actions.
In addition, Litchford & Christopher maintains an active
general corporate and real estate transactional practice. The
firm has organized and reorganized many businesses, negotiated
and drafted a wide variety of business contracts, and represented
both purchasers and sellers in sizeable and sophisticated
commercial real estate transactions. Our knowledge of how
businesses ought to be structured complements our ability to
resolve the disputes that can arise in any business.
