Donald E. Christopher has the
privilege of serving as the 2009-10, Vice-Chair and 2010-11
Chair of The Florida Bar Standing Committee on Civil Procedure
Rules.
Donald E. Christopher is also the
author of Chapter 7, entitled “Securing, Resisting, and Limiting
Discovery of Trade Secrets and Confidential Business
Information,” in the forthcoming 6th Edition of
Business Litigation in Florida, published by The Florida
Bar. |

In early 2010, Hal K. Litchford,
and Marisa E. Rosen
successfully defended against a lawsuit seeking preliminary
injunctive relief and monetary damages against out-of-state
corporate and individual defendants for violation of the Florida
Uniform Trade Secrets Act, breach of contract, breach of
fiduciary duty, and conversion. The U.S. District Court for the
Middle District of Florida in Orlando, Florida, denied the
plaintiff’s injunction and, within two months, dismissed the
entire lawsuit.

In March 2010, Keri A. McGovern
and Marisa E. Rosen joined the Central
Florida Association of Women Lawyers. CFAWL is a professional
organization devoted to supporting the advancement of women in
the legal profession, encouraging its members to take active
leadership roles in the community, and promoting integrity and
collegiality throughout the Central Florida community. |
In March 2010,
Keri A. McGovern and
Marisa E. Rosen were admitted to
practice in the United States District Court for the Southern
District of Florida. Keri and Marisa may now appear as counsel
in the federal courts in Fort Lauderdale, Fort Pierce, Key West,
Miami, and West Palm Beach.

In January 2010, Christine M. Ho was
asked to serve as the Legal Advisor to the Asian American
Chamber of Commerce’s (AACC) Board of Directors. AACC was
founded in 1986, and its mission is to provide leadership,
support and encouragement to the Asian American business
community of Greater Orlando. |
